Voice Communications

We supply and install integrated voice communication systems in what today is called "unified communications". Communications Servers tend to move towards the integration of voice and data, although there are still some hybrid installations, joining analog, digital and VoIP terminals in the same system.

The solutions offered by ALTEL can be implemented with specific telephone cabling, structured cabling for data/voice or wireless systems, either Wifi or DECT. Some of the equipment that make up a current communications network:

Servers capable of connecting analog public network lines, ISDN and SIP accesses or GSM mobile accesses and with extensions
Corded and cordless (wifi or DECT) desktop telephone terminals with corded or Bluetooth and wireless headset
Telephone terminal simulation applications to be installed on computers or smartphones (softphones)
Specific terminals for audio conferencing, equipped with loudspeakers and high-powered microphones
DECT Base Stations and Wifi Access Points for connecting the wireless terminals

Some of the projects already executed in this area:

Ministério da Agricultura: Communications Server and respective terminals in the new headquarters building of the Ministry in Maputo;
CFM: Communications Server and respective terminals in the new headquarters building of the Ministry in Maputo;
INSS: Communications servers at the Headquarters in Maputo and in all Provincial Directorates interconnected by Trunk IP;
ENH: Communications server at the Headquarters in Maputo with the possibility of interconnecting VoIP phones remotely;
Ministério das Finanças: Communications server at Maputo Headquarters (Av. 10 de Novembro);
